2008 Champion Tipster Competition

Despite a valiant last ditch effort, Simon's 28/1 choice only managed to come in fourth - leaving victory in the hands of Tony for the second time. Second and third go to Luke and Julie respectively. This was the lowest scoring competition ever, here are the usual statistics:

Another interesting fact is that if each player had had a £5 each-way bet on their selections throughout the season Tony would have won £37 while Vicky would have lost £130. And if you were to have put the same bet on all of the players selections each week you would be £430.44 worse off now. Which all goes to prove, once again, that it is better to head the bank, rather than the betting shop, with your money.
