2007 Champion Tipster Competition

OK, it really is all over now. Despite overflow day the results stay as is (Charlie valliantly picked a suitable outsider but it lost). So it is a big congratulations to Simon who is officially Champion Tipster 2007. Well done also to Tony and Ellie for coming second and third respectively. Here are some other statistics:

Another interesting fact is that if each player had had a £5 each-way bet on their selections throughout the season Simon would have won £158.75 while Vicky would have lost £120.50. And if you were to have put the same bet on all of the players selections each week you would be £198.66 worse off now. Which all goes to prove that it is better to head the bank, rather than the betting shop, with your money.
